Special Education

Spring Grove Area School District provides a continuum of special education services through in-house programming, partnership with the Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12, and neighboring districts. An annual review of current programming and the complex needs of our students prompts the administration to research the needs of Spring Grove Area School District resident students qualifying for services under PA Ch. 14 and IDEA. This review is focused on the least restrictive environment for individual students. The IEP team determines the programming based on the student’s individual needs.

The following in-house programming is offered:

• K-12 Learning Support
• K-12 Emotional Support
• K-12 Intensive Learning Support
• K-12+ Autistic Support
• K-4 Life Skills Support
• High School Transition Program
