• From the SGE PTO President

    Dear Parents and Families,

Hello!  I would like to introduce myself to the SGE families!  My name is Carli Neiderer and I am your PTO President for the 2023-2024 school year. I have a son in 2nd grade and a daughter in kindergarten. We also have an awesome group of board members who help to plan and support all of the great events!

We hold meetings every other month on the first Thursday at 6 p.m. in the SGE cafeteria.  Please park by the SGE playground & enter the building through door #3. We are looking for fresh new ideas and perspectives for fundraising as well as family events! Please watch the district website, emails, and refer to the monthly SGE calendar for the exact meeting dates. NEW THIS YEAR….we plan to send out an agenda prior to the meeting so you can determine if there is a topic that interests you. We will also be sending out minutes afterwards for those that are not able to attend. I am a firm believer in transparency and that more minds are better than one. Please come out and share your thoughts and ideas with us!

VOLUNTEERS are the single most important thing to keep these events going! Volunteers can be parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. and clearances are only required if volunteering during school hours. The PTO supports family fun nights such as bingo, fall fest, lego art show, and more. We coordinate book fairs, a holiday shop called “Little Shoppers Shoppe”, book vending machines, and more! Without volunteers, we would not be able to continue these fun activities for the students and their families. Please consider signing up when you see emails come out!!

For current information, please refer to the Spring Grove Elementary tab for current news & go to the PTO tab in the blue bar. You can also follow us on Facebook (Spring Grove Elementary PTO) or Instagram (sgepto). Of course, if you ever have any questions, please feel free to contact me, the school office, or send us a message on Facebook.  I am very excited about this coming school year and look forward to working with everyone!

I hope to see you at one of our meetings or events!

    Thank you!

    Carli
